Ted Snyder

Shortly after I had married my first wife April, she had led me in a prayer because I had said I wanted the peace that she had demonstrated to me, that was 1979. In 1980 we moved to Rochester, NY to seek better employment and to be near april's family. I was so busy working to build my own little empire in this world that I never took the time to consider my own never dying soul, when in 1986 my wife April found a lump in her breast. April was a born again Bible believing Baptist that had married me when in a back slidden state while we lived in Houston, TX. After three years of battling the cancer April died and I was left alone in a world that I no longer cared about. I cried out to god for an answer to why he would allow April to die and a wretch like me to continue. During the winter of 1991-2 I spent a great deal of time alone with my Bible crying and begging God for an answer. As spring began to blossom I came face to face with the fact that I did not know where I would spend eternity when my body finally failed me. In April of 1992 I called Pastor George Grace and told I needed to talk to him. When I arrived at his office I told Him that I thought I needed to be saved. Bro. Grace spend the next hour explaining the gospel and my need for repentance and forgiveness, finally I bowed my knees to ask the Lord to remove my sins by the Blood of jesus. when I rose from the floor I kept on rising until I was walking four feet of the floor. Jesus had saved me and taken the burden of my sins away!

I am truly blessed to be used of God in getting the gospel to the souls that are perishing in New Zealand.  When I begged God to save me in 1992, I never imagined that he would allow me to serve Him in preaching the gospel.

We have been so moved by all of the preachers and church members that we have met that are excited about serving the King and witnessing His amazing power to save.  Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm with this poor servant.
