The Story of God's Amazing Love.

It All started one innocent summer when the Snyders were just going about the Father's business (deputation.)

In June, Mom and the girls stayed in NY for a week for Jordan and Amie's wedding(some great friends of ours) while Dad and the boys headed south for meetings. We planned to meet at Word For The World's missionary canidates School. Before leaving NY it was decided 2 new tires were needed on the van so the trip south could be uneventful. Then God sent our home church to take care of the expense. On the way to Georgia the ladies spent the night at the Reynolds in Ohio. Then God sent Brother Reynolds to notice the cords showing on another tire! He quickly took the tire off and drove to the nearest tire store, an hour later they were on the road with Amy and Julie and a new tire hey, that bill never did show up on our debit card! Thanks brother!

As we were preparing for a 4yr old Birthday party for Malachi - in a rain storm. We suddenly found ourselves locked in the trailer, the latch had broke. While trying to fix the latch, the window breaks. No problem, Dawn and Amy hung plastic over the window,in the pouring rain - water was out, but they were soaked. We won't tell of all the "exciting" things that happened those few days with 13 people living in a 31ft trailer; you'll have to ask the Reynold's girls. Soon a new window was purchased and the latch fixed.

We drove Amy and Julie half-way to Florida to meet up with Lisa Reynolds. Upon our return the car started acting up as we appraoched the trailer. God is so Good! Instead of the fuel pump dying on the highway, it died right there near the trailer under a shade tree! The next morning Ted and the boys installed a new fuel filter and pump.

We were in Alabama when the car was using gasoline at about 4mpg. Then God sent Bro. Tom Palmer of Lighthouse Baptist Ministries to replace a broken internal fuel line. Then as we stopped in Oxford, AL the wheels for the trailer fell into a ditch crushing the steps, our next stop in Attalla, AL God sent Bro. Watkins to help weld a new set on.

We were traveling trough Winona, MS when the van suddenly would not go forward (only backward). Dawn backed the van into a parking spot at the local McDonalds and called to report. God supplied a state camp ground just down the road. The truck riders parked the trailer and went back to get the van riders, leaving the van until Monday. God sent Calvary Baptist Church (Pastor Larry Windham) in Grenada, MS and Bro. Arkell Armstrong to our help and had the transmission rebuilt. That Sunday afternoon as we prepared to go to the evening service at Calvary, the truck would not start; remember the van died the day before, that means no vehicle that runs. God sent two people from another Baptist church in Coffeeville, MS to give us a ride to church, in a school district van.(Felicity and Malachi were tickled to have the blessing of riding in a school bus.) Bobby and Michele work for the school district. The next morning, bright and early, Bro. Arkell arrived with a new starter for the pickup.

As we were headed through Henderson, TN the the truck didn't want to shift any more. A quick look to the left and there was a state park. We were able to get the trailer parked and then get ready for church and head out for a Wednesday night service. The next day God sent Pastor Shane Scott and Bro. Shawn Scott to help me replace the clutch. As soon as the clutch was repaired the engine started to run rough. The next morning, as the staff of Chickasaw State Park went to work finding us a desiel mechanic, God sent Pastor Steve Matheson and family to go to Winona, MS and pick up the van at the transmission shop. So I dropped the truck off at Volunteer International in Jackson, TN and headed to MS with the Mathesons.

Two days later we needed to leave for Ohio and the truck had its new fuel injector installed just in time. While in Dayton, OH with Pastor Dave Lovely, God used him and his brother to replace the inner seal the bearings and the brakes on the right rear wheel of the truck, no small task.

And so we came to the end of summer in awe of God's great love.
